How the pricing works

Every multi-day tour is priced per person for your group and quoted once we know your dates, group size and hotel tier. A 2-person trip and a 6-person trip do not cost the same per person, so the quote is always your own.

Every multi-day tour includes

  • Accommodation for every night on the itinerary
  • A desert camp night and a camel trek, on the Sahara routes
  • Breakfast daily

  • International flights
  • Visa fees, where applicable

  • Tips, which are appreciated and never expected
  • Travel insurance

Once every detail is agreed we send your invoice, and a 40% deposit by bank transfer or PayPal confirms the trip. It is refunded if you cancel up to 48 hours before departure. The other 60% is paid on the first day of the tour.

    A camel trek into the dunes at sunset, dinner and a night in a private desert camp, then sunrise over the sand before the drive continues.   4. Travel

    Your guide meets you at the agreed pickup point on day one and stays with you until the trip ends.

When to go, and how to start

The best months

April to June and September to early November are the most comfortable months for a multi-day trip: warm days, cool desert nights, dry roads over the Atlas. December to February brings cold nights in the Sahara, worth knowing before you pack. July and August are hot everywhere except the mountains and the north.

Starting your trip in Tangier

The ferry from Tarifa takes about an hour and lands at Tangier Ville, in the city, which is why the 3-Day Northern Loop can start straight off the boat. Tangier Ibn Battouta airport is 15km out, and cruise ships dock at Tangier Ville or Tangier Med, 45km east. We meet all of them.

How many days do you need for a desert tour from Tangier?

Four at least. Day one runs south to Fes, and day two crosses the Middle Atlas to the dunes of Erg Chebbi at Merzouga, about eight hours with stops, in time for the camel ride at sunset. The 4-day express gives you one night in the desert camp and ends in Marrakech; the 5-day Sahara tour adds a full day in the dunes and a second night.

Which Morocco tour from Tangier is right for me?

Short on time: the 2-day Chefchaouen overnight or the 3-day northern loop. The desert in a few days: the 4-day express or the 5-day Sahara tour. A first visit with a week: the 6-day grand tour. Is a deposit required?

Yes, 40% of the trip price. Once every detail is agreed, we send you an invoice and you pay the deposit by bank transfer or PayPal. It is refunded in full if you cancel up to 48 hours before departure; a later cancellation or a no-show is not refunded. The other 60% is paid on the first day of the tour.
