The whole north-to-south story in four days
This is the 6-day grand tour compressed for travellers who do not have a week: Chefchaouen and Fes on day one, the Sahara on day two, the kasbah road to Marrakech on day three and a morning in Marrakech before you leave.
The trade-off is honest: days two and three are long drives, eight to nine hours with stops. In return you get the blue city, a night under the stars at a private desert camp and Marrakech in four days from Tangier.
It suits cruise passengers with a long call or a repositioning cruise, ferry arrivals with four days free and couples who want the desert night without a week away. If you can spare two more days, the 6-day version covers the same route at an easier pace.

Pickup in Tangier and the road into the Rif Mountains. Two to three hours in Chefchaouen's blue medina and a lunch stop, then south through the hills to Fes for the night.

Over the Middle Atlas to the Sahara

South through Ifrane and the cedar forest near Azrou, over the Middle Atlas to Midelt and down the palm groves of the Ziz valley. At Merzouga, a camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset, dinner and a night at a private desert camp.

How long are the driving days?
Days two and three are eight to nine hours with stops. Day one is about six and a half hours with a long break in Chefchaouen, and day four is short.
Can we switch to the 6-day tour after booking?
Yes. Tell your guide before the trip and we requote it, subject to availability.
Is this tour private?
Yes. Your group only, with your own guide, driver and vehicle for the whole trip. No other travellers join you.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on your dates, your group size and the hotel level you choose, so we quote it for you, usually within 12 hours. The per-person price falls as the group grows.
