Overview
About this tour
- Duration 6-7 hours
- Group Private, yours only
- Pick-up Hotel, port or airport
- Difficulty Easy
- Start time You choose
A private Tangier day tour for your group only: a licensed local guide and an air-conditioned car for 6 to 7 hours, from the cliffs of Cape Spartel and the Hercules Caves to the Kasbah and the old medina, with a camel ride by the Atlantic on the way.
The route covers both sides of the city. It starts with a drive along the boulevards and the hillside California district to Perdicaris Park and Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, then the Hercules Caves and a short camel ride on the beach beside them. Back in town you walk the Kasbah, the medina, the Mendoubia Gardens, the Grand and Petit Socco and the souks, while your guide tells the history and culture of the city behind each stop.

Why travelers loved it
Fantastic tour: Fadi speaks excellent English and has a lot of interesting history lessons. Highly recommended.
Thank you, Fadi, for a wonderful day in Tangier. Your tour guide was friendly, very interesting, and entertaining. Highly recommended, Fadi's tour.
Just finished a full day tour with Fadi. It was a day packed with fun and exciting adventures, he has great knowledge of Morocco and the history of the beautiful country. This trip wouldn’t have been nearly as fun if I didn’t book this amazing guide. I will be recommending Fadi to anyone that decides to travel to Tangier.
Fadi was great and organized a perfect tour for our family with young kids! Super grateful for the experience and Fadi’s knowledge.

Questions and answers
Questions about the Tangier Day Tour
Can you see Tangier in one day?
Yes, the essentials. In 6 to 7 hours the day tour covers the coast (Cape Spartel and the Hercules Caves) and the old town (the Kasbah, the medina and the souks), starting when you choose, with a break for lunch.
Is the camel ride included?
Yes. A short camel ride on the Atlantic beach beside the Hercules Caves is included in the price. If you would rather skip it, just say so on the day.
What is included in the price?
Your licensed local guide, private air-conditioned transport with pickup and drop-off in Tangier, the camel ride and the entry fees to the places on the itinerary, from $65 per person for your group only. Lunch is not included; there is free time for it in the medina.
Can we do the tour on a day trip from Spain?
Yes. The fast ferry from Tarifa takes about an hour to Tangier Ville port, where your guide meets you at the exit, and the tour fits between a morning crossing and an evening ferry back. You book the ferry; tell us its times. On a cruise stop, our shore excursions are built around your ship's hours.
How do we pay, and what if we cancel?
There is no deposit for most groups; groups of 11 or more pay a deposit of 40% of the agreed price to hold the date. You pay on the day in cash (US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or dirhams), by PayPal or by bank transfer; cards are not accepted. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before, and with no deposit there is nothing to pay.
Can we change the route or the start time?
Yes. You choose the start time, and the route and the pace follow what you most want to see: more time in the medina, a longer stop at Cape Spartel, or shopping in the souks. The tour runs in English, French, Spanish or Arabic.
